There once was a girl,
her face framed with delicate curls
who wanted to see the world.
The world she pictured,
versus the world she knew
were insanely different.
Yet she tried and cried
only wishing for the one
she hoped for to arrive.
She was once a girl
with no ill intentions,
so she never got detention.
She did as she was told
yet got nothing she knew she was owed
except being told,
“Go back to the kitchen.”
There once was a girl
that is now not just a girl
But a woman,
with imperfections and curves
never known to man.
She thought she knew the world,
but she knew nothing,
nothing could prepare her for this world,
Not her dolls,
nor her lessons,
nor the little whispers in the walls of times.
I like this girl
I love this!!!!!!
