Update Notes:
– Fixed an issue that could prevent high scores from saving to the shared server.
– Scores that cannot immediately reach the server are now saved locally and automatically retried.
– Updated the Hall of Flame system to correctly accept scores from every level.
– Enlarged the robot stomp hitboxes so jumping directly on robots works more reliably.
– Fixed an issue where the hero could respawn outside the Travis Kelsee arena.
– The hero will now respawn safely inside the arena during the Kelsee battle.
– Fixed a bug that could cause the main character to become invisible while leaving his shadow onscreen.
– Improved the game’s website integration and responsive display.
– Updated the game’s leaderboard plugin for greater reliability.

Update Notes:
– Added a new “Rest in Beef” continue screen featuring the hero being lowered into a giant vat of putrid Arby’s Sauce.
– Added new music to the continue screen.
– Added Travis Kelsee as the Level 8 mini-boss.
– Kelsee charges and dives across a locked, single-screen arena and can only be damaged from behind.
– Removed regular enemies and falling hazards from the Kelsee battle.
– Added Taelor Swyft’s Putrid Chamber as a dedicated ninth and final level.
– Added additional reels for the Kelsee and Taelor boss battles.
– Added a heavenly ascent and ending scene featuring Josh Allen, Vincent Price, Art Blakey, and Kurt Vonnegut.
– Added new music to the heavenly ascent and ending.

Update Notes:
– Added a colorful new NES-inspired title screen.
– Renamed the high-score leaderboard the “Hall of Flame” and made it accessible from the title screen.
– Added a new original 8-bit soundtrack to the Basement Level, adapted from a student composition.
– Balanced the volume between the regular level music, Basement music, and Mince Mode music.
– Added the current score and remaining continues to the bottom HUD.
– Rebalanced film-reel ammunition to better match the increased number of enemies in later levels.
– Silver film reels now provide three reels, while golden film reels provide ten.
– Golden reels become increasingly common in later levels.
– Added minimum starting reel supplies that increase with each level.
– Completely redesigned the main character with a unified 8-bit sprite set.
– Improved the hero’s standing, walking, jumping, and throwing animations so his appearance and proportions remain consistent.
– Fixed broken pixels, disconnected body parts, visible sprite seams, and other animation issues.
– Added action lines behind the hero while running with the V button.
– Updated the hero’s design with his orange afro, green tie, brown jacket, and consistent three-quarter-facing appearance.
