Beauty Beneath the Beholder

This placid heart
Has only so much to give
These glass bones
Can only hold till shattered
This porcelain skin
Is beauty in its fragility
But with all this
Love me no more
Nor no less
Otherwise, the cogs in these joints will rust
They could overexert
Or stone, like archaic fossils
Only then
It’ll be beheld beauty.
