Capturing Beauty

I wish to capture your likeness myself
Hold you in a frame so it is confine
To place you high above my gold bookshelf
For all to see that beauty is divine

The strokes of the brush move with such great poise
Like a sweet fragrance that moves in the air
The colors seem like they were made from joy
Lovely it is no one can help but stare

To understand would be to lose it all
There is much wonder in the not knowing
Like an illusion you may feel enthrall
Because curiosity keeps growing

How I wish to never forget this scene
Beautiful classical things always gleam
