Beauty standards are all I see
From exercising to starving yourself
To questioning your appearance, to think about surgery
Trying to look like every artist with a “perfect” hourglass body
To appeal to someone out there, to be noticed
The satisfaction isn’t enough for my eyes
Holding in your stomach or counting calories isn’t enough
You’ll only be happy if you look a certain way
Beauty standards tend to run our minds and bodies. We completely question our self worth based off of someone else’s perception. Hopefully everyone, by some point or another, finds beauty in themselves.
